In this comprehensive 3-hour session held on our Western MA farm, you'll gain the knowledge and confidence needed to embark (or improve) on your seed starting journey. Our workshop covers essential topics, including:

• Soil blocking vs. Plug trays
• Equipment (basic to tools for scaling)
• Germination requirements
• Building your own seed germination chamber (yes, we'll build one together!)
• Ideal growing conditions
• Special considerations for cut flowers (though techniques are transferable)
• Step-by-step instructions
• Managing seedlings that outgrow their space
• Keeping seedlings healthy until planting
